Budleigh Festival 2020 launches with an opportunity to hear two of Britain’s leading musicians in a unique recital of song. Elin Manahan Thomas performed to over a billion people in 2017 at Harry & Meghan’s wedding, whilst Catrin Finch is one of the world’s leading harpist and previously Harpist Royal to the Prince of Wales. They have come together to celebrate the music of John Rutter, who is 75 this year. John Rutter’s amazing gift for melody has made him one of Britain’s most loved living composers. Elin and Catrin’s recital also includes the very best of British song from Purcell to traditional folk songs from their Welsh homeland.
