Emily is completing her A levels at Marlborough College. She is taught bassoon by Joanna Baillie-Stark at the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music and is looking forward to starting full-time conservatoire study in September.
Having been a member of the National Youth Orchestra for three years, Emily’s final performances are coming up this summer. She is also a member of the Amadeus Orchestra with whom she will soon be playing at Exeter Cathedral.
Emily is a Drake Calleja Trust Junior Scholar and is grateful for support from the Cherubim Trust, The Wolfson Foundation and the Ewelme Educational Trust.
Sally has performed as an accompanist in venues including the Wigmore Hall, the South Bank, the Barbican and Windsor Castle. She has accompanied Emily since she started playing the bassoon. Sally is Music Coordinator at Brunel University with roles ranging from piano teaching to theatre MD and vocal coaching. She is also Head of Piano for the Music Teachers’ Board.
