Simply Sondheim
Stephen Sondheim remains one of the most iconic voices in musical theatre with a genius for witty lyrics and poignant story-telling combined with an originality and complexity in his composition. Sondheim’s musicals are some of the most enduring and distinctive of the last 50 years and there is rarely a time on Broadway or the West End when one of his shows is not drawing huge crowds.
This concert of songs performed by West End singers accompanied by an orchestra will feature music from Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum, Follies and more, guaranteeing a night of soaring melodies, thrilling harmonies expertly performed and woven together to make a memorable night out.
This concert will be British Sign Language interpreted.
This concert will finish at c. 9.30pm and includes a 20 minute interval.
