Guido Sant’Anna is a 19 year old Brazilian virtuoso. He made his début at the Rheingau Musik Festival in 2023 where critics described him as having ‘charisma, stage presence and an astonishing maturity and depth in his playing.’ In 2022 he became the first South American violinist to win the prestigious Fritz Kreisler International Competition in Vienna. He was the first Brazilian violinist to be invited to the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition in Geneva in 2018, winning both the Audience Prize and the Chamber Music Award. He will be accompanied by Ariel Lanyi, a prize-winner at the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2021 and awarded the Prix Serdang in 2023.
