Márton Mikulík and Benjámin Forgó

Márton and Benjámin met at the Béla Bartók Music Conservatory in Budapest. As solo pianists at high school, they had already won first prizes in the National High School Piano Competition. They progressed to the Liszt Music Academy in Budapest where they both studied under
Professor András Kemenes.

After achieving their MAs, Márton and Benjámin worked together on a Four-Hand version of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 in D Major (‘Titan’). The piano arrangement is by Mahler’s friend and renowned conductor, Bruno Walter and this performance includes additions by Márton and Benjámin.

Concert timing: this concert will finish at approximately 1pm.
