Canadian pianist Ryan Wang captivated audiences worldwide when he won BBC Young Musician 2024 playing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2 with BBC National Orchestra of Wales, broadcast on BBC Two, BBC Four and BBC Radio 3. His success at the competition at the age of 17 follows an already long list of international prizes and accolades. In 2023, at just 15, Ryan was the youngest artist featured in Classic FM’s ‘30 Under 30’,
and he was selected for Fondation Louis Vuitton’s New Generation Series 2022/23.

This concert will finish at c. 9.30pm and includes a 20 minute interval.
