This, combined with outstanding teaching staff, provides exceptional specialist provision for its young musicians, many of whom secure places at conservatoires and on prestigious university courses. Millfield students benefit from a vibrant and extensive concert calendar, featuring over 60 events each year, with performances ranging from solo recitals to large-scale ensemble concerts, and chamber music concerts to concerto festivals.

The Millfield Recital at the Budleigh Music Festival will feature the overall vocal and instrumental winners from the Millfield Musician of the Year competition, whilst also featuring an item from one of the school’s many Chamber Ensembles.
