BMF brings renowned and emerging artists to Budleigh Salterton, East Devon and the South West to explore and share ideas about the changing world through a love of music.
Actively Explore opportunities to Innovate and Collaborate by working with other notable cultural bodies, by commissioning new music, through adventurous programming, and by involving community groups.
Establish Partnerships with local charities serving the disabled and other marginalised members of the community to ensure BMF delivers the benefits of its cultural activities to as wide an audience as possible.
Support and Encourage young musicians and artists at the beginning of their careers, with a particular focus on emerging artists resident in or with links to the South West.
Increase Accessibility to the Festival by providing appealing programmes and events that promote Inclusion and Diversity with opportunities to participate in music – making.
