We are delighted to welcome back Jeneba Kanneh-Mason to the festival, who has agreed at short notice to appear as our Rising Star. Last year she received a standing ovation for her bewitching recital. Hailing from one of the most talked about musical families in the UK, Jeneba Kanneh-Mason is certainly a rising star. In 2021 she made her concerto debut at The Proms with Chineke! as well as taking part in the Kanneh-Mason Prom with other family members. Her technically prodigious pianism is coupled with a keen sense of refined musicianship. Expect a concert of virtuosic pyrotechnics from one of our finest young pianists.
