The Devon Youth Wind Orchestra (DYWO) is a symphonic wind orchestra for musicians aged between 12 and 21 years from all areas of Devon. DYWO is open to brass, wind and percussion players of intermediate and advanced ability. It offers young musicians the opportunity to improve their musicianship whilst playing a fun and varied selection of music.

The group meets monthly and holds one residential weekend every year. It plays at different events and venues throughout the year, providing valuable performing experience that helps to build self confidence, teamwork, listening, discipline and self-motivation.
